Jan 18 wrote the County Mayors in the Eastern Division-minus the Metro Counties -introducing myself and also letting them know that an Indian Affairs Commission exists and that there are recognition criteria passed in 1991.

March 12 received a call last night from Judy Myers with the Texas Dept of Trans. She said that they will be working with our own TDOT to form citizen advisory committees in the near future. sent out nomination forms.

March 17 lunch with John Anderson, Chattanooga to discuss his views on a Memphis meeting

April 13 began compiling comprhensive list of Native owned businesses in the State

April 23-25 Powwow, Sparta,

May 4 Visited several Legislators at Legislative Plaza, Nashville. Met and talked with several Representatives including Mike Kernell and Don McLeary.
    Visited TDEC offices and talked with General Counsel Joe Sanders and met Ed Harris, the General Counsel assigned to TCIA and AG Barry Turner

May 14-16 Cumberland Plateau Powwow, Cookeville

May 15 gave report to ACTIA meeting-M'boro

May 17 toured Parker Cem and Old Harrison construction site, Chattanooga area

May 20 Riverwalk burial site, Pigeon Forge - met with Ira Grossman, developer contact.

May 22,23 Honor the Ancestors powwow, Portland

May 25 Reviewed archives of Old Commission
    Visited Attorney General's office and talked with John Smith and Jeffrey Hill

May 27 reviewed Commission archives-TDEC office, Nashville

May 31 National Cemetary, Nashville. Native Veterans Memorial Services

June 07 Native American Dance Theatre, Nashville

June 16 aquired DUNNs number for TCIA

June 20 National Day of Prayer to Protect Native American Sacred Places,Chickamauga Mound - Moccasin Bend Mounds -Chattanooga
